Who We Are:
My husband, Nick, and I began Elshaday Press in order to publish Heart, Soul, Mind, Strength in time for the World Discipleship Summit in San Antonio, Texas in 2012. We chose the name "Elshaday" because it means "Almighty God" or "in Him we trust" in Amharic, the official language of Ethiopia. All of the profits from Elshaday Press so far have been used to fund the adoption of our son from Ethiopia. We brought our son, Addis, home in the summer of 2016 and are now praying for more opportunities to offer financial support to aid work in Ethiopia or children in need of families in the US.
In addition to Heart, Soul, Mind, Strength and our second publication, People-Pleaser, we have some other upcoming projects. A Journey through the Gospel of John: Reflective Quiet Times is due out in July 2018. Nick and I are also working on a second edition of HSMS together.
